Update on NaNoWriMo and NaBloPoMo

So, over the past few days I have been contemplating whether I should sign up for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and/or NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month). Eever since I read the post here on WordPress about it, I asked myself a couple of times which of the two I should try and after doing some research and reading, I decided to pass up NaNoWriMo this year.

It’s not that I chickened out or anything, it’s just that the NaNoWriMo Kick-Off Party for my region has already started last October 25 at a local restaurant. Maybe I could still sign up, but I feel like it’d be like diving into an already tight fishbowl. It’s also not because writing an approximate of 1,700-2,000 words per day scares the shit out of me because I do that anyway with ONCEPodcast and in under two hours. I’m not even concern about what I’m going to write because I already have two different plots in mind. No. That’s not it. It’s just that I feel like the timing is just so wrong. Also, it took me way too long to make up my mind and now it’s too late.

I did some digging about NaBloPoMo as well but couldn’t find out the registration page for it on the BlogHer website. Either I’m too impatient and I just didn’t look hard enough, I’m lazy or it really wasn’t there yet. But I’m still hoping I could still find it because I really want to try it out despite my busy schedule and participating in Blogging 201 already because just like in Blogging 101, I feel like there’s something in store for me in NaBloPoMo. I don’t know what, I don’t know how, I just do.
