Blogging 101, Day Eight: Be a Good Neighbor

Today’s assignment: leave comments on at least four blogs that you’ve never commented on before.

I know I’m doing fairly well so far with Blogging 101, but I can’t deny the fact that I’m guilty about not being able to help out as many co-bloggers as I should be. Blame it on my busy schedule, blame it on my Once Upon a Time binge-watching, blame it on my waking up late everyday. I know I should help out more; which is why I’m thankful for this assignment. It’s my chance to check out a few blogs currently enrolled here on Blogging 101, and then some.

I originally planned to comment on about 6-10 blogs but realized it was harder than I thought. I could do it, of course, but in order to do so, I have to skip work, which I could not afford. So for today’s assignment, I visited four different blogs. One is from a follower, the others are fellow Blogging 101ers. They are as follows:

An Open Letter To My Dad by Confession of a Ginger – I liked it because I can relate. It’s just so hard when your own father breaks your heart first before any boys do.
Nine Reasons being Asian is Awesome by Harsh Reality – I love this entry because it’s true, especially number 9. WE DO LOOK YOUNG whether you want to admit it or not. 🙂
The Meaning Behind The Name by Kelebek Ali – A follower and a fellow Blogging 101er, what I liked about her post is how she came up with the blog name.
Did He Give Up on Me? by The Fickle Heartbeat – It’s just a sad thought, being left by someone who you thought would stay just when you need them the most.

As a communications graduate, I have learned that communication is very important in able to move forward. It can never be one-sided. Whether you agree or not, what matters is you interact with the rest of the group. This way, not only will you progress, you will also learn along the way… at least that’s the hope (and what I want to achieve in this task).

KTHXBYE.

I really think these Blogging 101 prompts are a great way to “open up” your blog and the connections people are making are also awesome! I appreciate the mention of my website and I hope you continue to have fun networking through the Blogging University! -OM

  2. Were we supposed to keep track of where we commented and post about that? I didn’t, but I’m not sure I would have even if I’d thought that was expected. So lazy. Also, it seems too meta to blog about blogging. (I didn’t do the “dream reader” assignment, either. Such a rebel, me.)

    • Oh, uhm. I don’t know. I don’t think so. I just really like taking notes of everything I did for this course. I’m pretty sure we all have a freedom to do whatever we want (or not) with Blogging 101 so you’re good, I think. 🙂
