How do you know when you’ve found ‘The One’? Was there any fireworks or orchestra and a choir singing “Hallelujah!” because you’ve finally found your soulmate? Or did it come quietly? Slipping through your heart and soul that you didn’t realize you’re falling in love?

How did you know it was real love and you’re not actually having delusions? These days, I don’t know how I feel. Continue reading

I KNOW. Save your judgements. I’ve been listening to Waitress: The Musical’s cast recording for THREE MONTHS straight now. It’s crazy, I know. Don’t get me wrong, Hamilton deserves all the praises and awards they got but, I’m just saying, there are other musicals in their season that are just as great that also deserves some love. Anyone up for a poetry challenge?

So, I was talking to a friend about my blog and poetry and how I fell so deeply in love with it and she told she would give me something to write about and I said, “Why not?!” Now, after a couple of weeks of chatting about anything and everything under the sun, she’s finally sent me the things and themes I must work on. Upon reading what she sent me, I thought, “Hey, maybe others can join in if they want?”

So here they are. Hop in if you want or is looking for some inspiration. No, you’re not gonna win $10,000.00 or a Golden Globes award for doing your assignment. It’s just all fun. Just something to think and write about because I know deep down you’re also a sucker for new inspirations. **Okay, maybe we can do something about the award thing? I don’t know.

The rules are simple: 1. Pick a subject; 2. Pick a theme; 3. Write about it. Continue reading

Hong Kong, Take 2.

16th November, 2015. 3:55pm

This is a response to the Daily Prompt’s One More Time.”

If you were able to relive one day from the last 12 months, which day would it be — and why?

The year 2015 has been a whirlwind for me. I love it because it’s the first time I traveled out of the country without a family in tow, but it’s also one of the saddest years because not only did my grandmother die, but my sister also finally left the country to be with her husband. Still,  if there’s one thing I would gladly relive this year, it’s my first travel to Hong Kong. Continue reading
